The EC Bad Nauheim will soon start into the new season – with Fabrik19 AG as their technology partner. Just in time for the start of the season, we can announce that we have further developed the Red Devils’ app and that the new version will go live on the day of the ice hockey team’s first home game. It is becoming increasingly important for sports clubs to offer their fans digital communication channels that can be used intuitively.
New version, new layout
In addition to general adjustments and optimizations of the ECBN app, the new design immediately catches the eye. Overall, the app has been adapted even more to the users’ needs. For the ice hockey team’s home matches, for instance, the native application becomes THE tool for fans through a change in layout and content. The new, large news screen then gives way to the live ticker and other functions that are particularly important during the game. If there is no game, the app focuses on the latest news, information about the team and your tickets. The new version is to be subjected to a final test in the upcoming test matches of the Red Devils before it is released in time for the first home match on September 9th.
Player of the day, live ticker and ticket shop
The live ticker already known from previous versions has been updated and now appears with new icons and a dropdown display of the player names. A brand new feature is the selection of the player of the day. In the new version, users now have three players to choose from on game days. App users can nominate one of them as player of the day. Whoever has the most votes at the end wins. In addition, a view of the ticket shop has been integrated into the app so that fans can now keep track of their tickets in the app at any time.
The stadium tab
The EC stadium tab is to be understood as an electronic payment method that replaces cash and acts as a means of payment in the Red Devil’s stadium. Fans should therefore already be familiar with the concept from stadium visits. With the new update, users can now find it in the app as well. That way, they can check their current balance and past transactions via their smartphone.
With the new functions, the app is not only a must-have for visitors to the stadium, but also informs those who cannot be present at the game about everything important in real time. Overall, the app is the perfect companion for fans of EC Bad Nauheim – regardless of whether it is a game day or not. We are looking forward to an exciting season in which top sport and top technology work together!
